LACED Events has been set up by a group of second year students currently studying Entertainment and Events Management at Glasgow Caledonian University.

They have organised a 5-week training course in cocktail making in association with ‘Poison – Petite and Elite Events’ which will take place every Monday night 8pm-9pm starting 10th March in The Ivy (located next to the Mitchell Library on Charring Cross). The 5-week block comes at the discounted price of £10! !

The 5-week training programme will cover the following spirits: Vodka Rum Gin Tequila You will learn how to make both classic and contemporary cocktails from bartenders with almost 10 years experience between them!

But this is no ordinary cocktail training. Firstly it’s open to everyone, not just bartenders and waitresses! Secondly there is a chance for you to make some money!!

Poison – petite and elite events is a growing Glasgow based events company. They specialise in providing professional cocktail bartenders and waitresses for cocktail reception and parties. They cater for all types of events such as the recent Glasgow Film Festival launch party. They are looking for PR staff to promote their business.

By coming along to the full 5 weeks for the cocktail training you will learn all you need to know about Poison – petite and elite events and you will qualify as a fully trained member of the PR team.

The job will include promoting the business through word of mouth and the rewards will be 10% of any event that you find. Imagine…..£50, £100, £150 in your pocket, just for recommending Poison – petite and elite events!
